After two years of wondering, pondering, meditating, praying, and fasting about where our family would end up, we finally know! We went back and forth between Houston, Oregon, Washington, San Antonio, Arizona, and Georgia. And Georgia state it is! My sister lives in Georgia and Mike's sister lives in the Florida panhandle so we will be closer to two siblings. That will be very nice especially since we haven't been close to family for over four years. It will be such a treat.

When I think about uprooting our family, I get a little panicked, but then I remember that everything will be ok! Like my sister said, "We can do hard things!" The moving process is hard!

We have absolutely loved our life in Texas! We love the people we have come in contact with and it makes us so sad to think we won't be with them the rest of our lives! The only comfort I get in leaving friends behind is that they will eventually leave the city also. I just pray we do a good job in keeping in touch. I want to see their children grow up! I want to see what life brings them! I want to travel through life with our best friends.

We will be moving some time late October. That will come quick! I will enjoy the last month we live in this Texas city. I will move away with Texas pride!

Congratulations! It must be wonderful to know that with a move you'll get more space. We will miss you guys so much, but will be faithful blogging penpalls - tecnhology is such a blessing when friends are far away. I know what you mean about leaving Texas - so many great memories, friends and pride! You are so lucky to be going to a southern state - there is something so wonderful about the south. Can't wait to hear all about your life's adventures - we love you guys!!

Oh my gosh-- congratulations Audra! What a huge step for you guys, and I'm so happy for you. It is hard to say good-bye just when you're getting comfortable, but you know it's for the best. Good luck with everything. We will miss you!

I know that there will be some sad people in Texas, but I speak for the entire state of Georgia when I say, "Come on down!!!"
