I think every mom has a "poo story" of their children. I have many of Kyle and Jordan who learned to take off their diapers WAY too young. Well, now I have one of Tanner. Yesterday, after Kyle and Jordan's soccer practise at the YMCA, we were playing at the park right by the pool. Kyle said he had to go #2 and he had to go "NOW!" I told him and Jordan to run to the YMCA as I grab Tanner from the playground that he was not wanting to leave yet. I finally got Tanner to follow me into the YMCA. Kyle and Jordan were both in the bathroom so Tanner and I were waiting outside the restroom doors. I kept getting a whiff of poo. I finally noticed some poo on the ground and I wondered if it was Kyle's. I worried that Kyle did not make it in time, but then again it might have been someone else's baby. After a little while playing with Tanner, I finally noticed poo running down Tanner's legs, socks, and shoes. It was Tanner! Ahhh! I did not have any wipes in my diaper bag (thanks to Mike!) so I went to the Youth Activity Center. Luckily they had the supplies to clean Tanner up. I didn't have a change of clothing so Tanner was just in his diaper. Nothing was in the proper condition to put back on his body, if you know what I mean! As we left the Youth Activity Center, Tanner bolted straight to the gym (after I work out in the morning, we always go play in the gym). Well, it was evening and there was a volleyball game going on. Tanner, only in his diaper, ran right through the volleyball game, stopping the game and getting lots of laughs. I had to chase after him, as everyone watched. I did eventually catch him, but then I had to go clean up that poo right outside the bathroom doors. I knew Tanner would bolt again if I let go of him, so I cleaned up the mess while clinging to Tanner's arm. It was not pleasant. I really hope this is my last poo story, but considering that I am not done having children, I am afraid that I will have others in the future. Oh, the price you pay as a mother!
