Jordan does brush in the morning and the night, but the poor guy has had a few dental problems. Ugh! He had three cavities that needed to be fixed. One was so deep, they needed to put a silver crown on it. He has had dentist appointments before so now he knew what was going on and he knew he didn't want to do it! I could relate to his pleadings not to go to the dentist. I could relate to his worries about the shots and the drilling. I could relate to his concerned look. But he was so brave. He went back there by himself, did good through the procedures, and then smiled real big when he got to choose a treasure from a treasure box. He chose a plastic bat and a tooth necklace. I was so proud of my brave little guy! Of course he had to show off his new silver tooth and his new toys when we got home but that caused lots of problems. Kyle took one look at that silver tooth and plastic bat and knew that he had to have one too. He cried and cried for us to take him to the dentist so he could get a silver tooth also. After much discussion and explaining, he finally settled with going to the dollar store so he could chose a fun toy to play with. Finally everyone was happy! The appointment was a success, but I don't want to do that ever again. Kyle and Jordan are now flossing.

Way to go Jordan!! We are proud of you for being so brave at the dentist! I can't wait to see your silver tooth! PS - I don't like to go to the dentist either. Call Adam and you can both talk about how much you don't want to go to the dentist. And keep up the flossing!
I think it is so funny Kyle wanted a silver tooth, too. Kids never cease to make me smile!
Gotta love those days! I took my girls to the doc. yesterday for their 4/1yr well visits (finally) and they had to get 4 shots each! ugh! Poor Hannah now dreads going in there b/c she fears either being 'pinched' or getting shots (= The things we do to prevent any further 'damage', huh (= (Shots are better than the alternative, but they don't understand that!)
I can relate with you on this one... Hailey has already had dental visits. Not fun! Hopefully, this will be it for a while for you.
