I have talked to many of you about my sister in Romania working in a hospital and an orphanage there. She finally posted pictures of where she is. If you are interested in what it is like in a Romanian city, go here.
Yeah, it's through the BYU International and Area Studies programs. It's under the category of "Volunteer Abroad Program." But it's also an academic program--we are taking 9 credits here. 6 credits for an MFHD internship and 3 credits for an International and Area Studies class (a class on the Romanian culture). It's a lot of work!!

what kind of program is Abbi in. Is it a service semester or study abroad with a side project in the orphanage? what an amazing experience.
