Time Wasted
So a few nights this past week I have totally wasted time once the boys have gone to bed. It is like I can't do anything productive once my big responsibilities are asleep! So other than scripture reading, can you guys give me your great ideas on things to do at night that are wholesome, uplifting activities? I need to change - I hate the feeling of wasting time.

hmmm, folding laundry and blogging. not really fabulously productive activities. plus, lately, if miles is asleep, so am I.
I need to stop wasting time too. When I am productive I am usually folding laundry, writing in my journal, scrapbooking, or talking to family - I always consider that productive!
at least you can reccognize that you are wasting time - that's a start for me! :D as long as I am double tasking, I feel that I'm not wasting time. I hear Emma - folding laundry, filing stuff, getting organized WHILE watching TV or a movie is what I usually do at night.
So when do you wanna have our girl movie night? Have you not seen any movies that you want to see?
Here are my thoughts on the subject: at night we are tired, our physical and emotional energy is spent. You need to do something that doesn't take either of those. Do your high-energy stuff when your energy is high, and save soothing, relaxing activities for the evening, like reading, crocheting, folding clothes while watching something on TV, etc. etc. Anything that needs to be done but doesn't require thought or energy fits into this category. Another idea is do something you REALLY want to do. Maybe you can generate some energy just because you want to do it so badly. (Doesn't always work, but sometimes it might.)Well, that's my suggestion.
