Settled Yet?

Today we got on the subject of whether we own our home or not. I explained to Kyle that we are renting and that we don't own the home. I told him that we want to find a home to buy and then we will have to move again. He said, "You mean we have to pack everything up again?" I nodded and he said, "That is not cool." I agree! Though things have gone fairly smoothly and pretty much everything has fallen into place, it was still a challenge. I am still out of a good routine and I don't feel like I am functioning all that well. Being really sick hasn't helped, but doing the things I use to do every day seems overwhelming to me. I am blaming it on the move. So anyway, I am finally posting some pictures of our move.

Mike made sure that our house was organized through the move. He is a good one to have around for a move!

Our 22 foot moving truck, with the Subaru pulled behind.

The boys passed up watching movies in the van to ride with dad in the truck.

Good job, honey. Keep it up!

As soon as we got everything in the apartment, we went out to dinner with Jessi's fam, and then stayed the night at their house. Needless to say, this mess was a little overwhelming to attack.

Our new home.

Audge, don't you worry, I'm sure you're functioning at a much higher level than you feel. Moving just takes it right out of you. (At least it takes it out of me!!) Plus, you are sick!! Give yourself a break, and don't expect yourself to function the way you did before the move. You're doing great! Just look at you, you're even posting several blogs! Thank you for them!

I just wanted to say thank you for posting pictures and sharing about your move. It helps me to still feel connected to you in some way.
Georgia is beautiful, and your home is so cute! Your boys looked very excited about the whole thing. I feel your frustration with unpacking-- I hate doing it too! Hang in there.
