Thank Goodness for Mike

I wonder when my boys will realize how extraordinary their father is. Not everybody in the world has a father like Mike. Mike is very present in their lives and I think the most influential person in their lives. I would say to Kyle, Jordan, and Tanner, "Be with him. Watch him. Learn from him. Grow up to be like him. If you do, you will be good men." I recently saw these quotes in my scrapbooking magazine:

"The imprint of the Father remains forever on the life of the child." - Roy Lessin

"My Father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it." - Clarence Kelland

"Small boys become big men through the influence of big men who care about small boys."

Thank goodness for Mike who shows my boys how to live and how to love. Mike teaches the boys how to love their mother. I am a lucky woman; I know I am a woman truly loved! Thank goodness for Mike. He is the center of our lives.

I also love the quote, "The most important thing a father can do for his children is love their mother". It is so wonderful to have husbands who our children can look up to... my girls are seriously captivated by their dad at times and RUN to the door when he comes home. It is such a blessing, they make our lives easier!

I especially like the picture of Mike climbing up the tree w/ Kyle and Jordan following behind... what a great picture.
