I have had that sick feeling all day today. My camera is broken. It shouldn't be broken. I have cared for and handled that camera almost better than my own children! Luckily it is not a major problem. The mirror is dislodged so I can't see through the viewfinder. Once we put the mirror back, it should be good to go. But still! I saved my money for a year to buy that camera and now I have to pay a bunch to get it fixed. Again, it should not be broken. I don't know how it happened. But since it isn't under warranty, I have to pay for it. Ugh! But you know...my children are healthy, my husband loves me, he has a job, we have a wonderful home to live in, we have the gospel in our lives...I don't have it so bad. When I think of this and have a better perspective, that sick feeling leaves me.
No pictures for a few weeks though.

I am so sorry... that is an awful feeling, especially when you love taking pictures as much as we do! How long is Cannon's camera warranty? I didn't realize that I'd set that new blog up to be viewed only by blog authors, so I fixed it, you should be able to see it now, I'm so excited!
I totally know how that might feel, if only I had such a camera to begin with - I FEEL YOUR PAIN.
big sad face for your camera. :(
i love your pictures, hurry up camera shop!
So sorry about your camera! It sounds like you have the right perspective, it was a good reminder to me too!
You know I'm crying for you (and for myself!) What are we going to do about Christmas card pictures??!
Sorry about the camera. You truly have an eye for photography and do so much with it. Your perspective is right though. I just sent a enormous payment to the hospital for Julia. The thought of that debt kills me. I have a plan to pay it off quickly, but the sick feeling of debt pops up over and over. The budget is a lot tighter, but Julia is alive, healthy, and thriving. I would pay more than a few thousand dollars for that.
Sorry about the camera. You have a great eye when it comes to photography and have done such wonderful things with it. I know it will be missed.
That is terrible. I couldn't function without my camera either. Especially with the holidays coming, hope it is ready by then!
