From Jessi

So Jessi has me hooked on two new things - edamame and Celestial Seasonings herbal tea. Have you guys tried edamame before? I had never heard about it before she brought it up. They are soy beans in their pods. You can buy them in the frozen veggies section in the grocery store. I found them at Wal Mart right among the frozen veggies, but had to look under the healthy food section at another grocery store. They are sold frozen and you can eat them cold or warm. Mike likes to put garlic pepper on the pods to add a little extra flavor. They are the perfect snack and so good for you!

I don't have the herbal tea as much, but thanks to Jessi, I'll have it every now and then for a late night drink before going to bed. I like the peppermint flavor with one packet of splenda. It warms me up during these cold nights in GA! (I know Shana, I am a wimp! I'm complaining how cold it is here when you have it way worse in Utah!)

I have tried these and they are amazing!! They were at a Sushi restaurant. I will have to buy them and try them again! Thanks for the recommendation. :) And Audra... I don't blame ya for being a wimp! I would be too if I came from Houston! :) But I wish I could go to GA because I know it is not as cold here in Utah!

Today when I was unloading my groceries I was thrilled when I found a forgotten bag of edamame in my freezer. I think I'll have it tonight, along with a cup of peppermint tea!

Edamame is the only protein I was able to eat for a majority of my last two pregnancies. I have three bags in the freezer right now. We top it with a little kosher salt. (Crystal)
