Bigger In Texas?

They say everything is bigger in Texas, but I don't know. This beetle from Georgia is pretty darn big. My boys found it in our apartment complex, one breezeway over from ours.

Mental note - always check the insides of my shoes before putting them on. Especially when camping.

Oh, and John, it is about time you started your own blog. What are you waiting for? What are you afraid of? You know you'd love it. We are all dying to know what you have to say about things.

And Connie, I think you need to start one too. Don't you think?!

OK, that's crazy! Do those things pinch?

Now THAT'S Oh My Goodness!!! That beetle is definitely trophy material! Too bad the boys aren't in school so they could take him for show and tell! I imagine those pinchers could do quite a bit of damage! I will check my shoes from now on too before putting them on, just in case!

Good grief.

And I'm going to have to agree with John's new blog. I think we should come up with its title. What do you think? Maybe I should dedicate an entry to that...

Yah Mindy, you think of one! I am definitely not as creative as you are!

I love that you took a picture of it on your shoe. What a creative contrast!

Audge, I don't think anyone wants to hear what I have to say. Plus, it would take way too much time to make it worth reading. I don't even know how to download pictures or really even find pictures on the internet and post them. Plus, the name Scarlet Velvet and Pearls is already taken and that is what I would want my name to be.
;)
