So tomorrow we head out to Utah for Abbi's wedding (my sister). For the next week, I will be soaking in all the romance surrounding a marriage! Oh, and wish me luck as the only bulging bridesmaid. I hope the photographs are forgiving of my extra padding!
But before we fly out of here, we had to finish painting Kyle, Jordan, and Tanner's rooms. That is what we did the morning of our anniversary - painted together. We don't look our best, but we are working hard together and that is what marriage is all about, right?:)

Word to the wise - think twice before painting a room red. We chose a deep red that took a total of five coats. Ugh!

bulging? you don't even look pregnant in that picture! you're gorgeous, have fun at the wedding!!
I love the color, and you guys are super cute!
I love that color. I hope to have a red room someday.
I love red. We have used it in both of our houses. It is a pain to paint though!
I love the color though! I painted one wall in my kitchen red and it was the same thing! Too many coats but I love it now it is done! Have fun at the wedding! We would love to see you while you are in U* but weddings are usually really busy!
I hear you on the buldging bridesmaid thing! My sister is getting married this weekend too and I am about 3 weeks from having a baby! Oh well hopefully I can hold Lance on my lap for some of the family pictures so I don't look too big.
We painted red at our house too and had the same experience - 1 coat of primer plus 5 coats of red, but it sure does look good when it is finished.
Have a fun trip. Tell Abbi congratulations.
nice!! way to go to be painting already! ya, my kitchen is red. i finalllearned that there are different kinds of paints, for deep colors like that, either prime first, OR get that expensive paint that takes only like 1 or 2 coats.
happy anniversary! have fun at the wedding!
That's a lot of painting. It looks good though!
I love the red too, and I don't dare show Porter this picture, he wanted a red and purple room... or a dark brown room... but settled for blue!
