The New Do

Check out Kyle and Jordan's new do. They ask for moose and then part their hair down the middle. Lovely! When I was a teenager, I remember my dad giving a talk about parenting. I clearly remember him saying that it is important for parents to be firm on principles and lenient on preferences. Now is the time for Mike and I to let Kyle and Jordan sport their new do and let them be proud of their individuality (and be embarrassed by it later!).

Oh Audge, It isn't that bad. You know what? I actually think it's pretty cute and makes him look so much older!! He is sure handsome. All your boys are. I was getting tired of Braydens hair so I asked him if I could cut a bit off and he was only wanting me to cut the sideburns, etc... but I told him I accidently messed up and I shaved the whole thing! He cried and cried telling me he looked so "stupid", but really, he looks great!! Poor thing, I am such a mean mom by purposly messing up his haircut so I could shave it!! :(

He looks handsome handsome! You are now into a new era - your children are aware of style and what others think of them. Ai yi yi! Best of luck making your way through!

He does look handsome even if he likes to sport the alfalfa do (minus the spike in the back)! I love it! And I loved your quote from your dad. I am so remembering that! Thank you for sharing that. And, ya, totally add me to your links! :))

Audge,

Apparently you don't know what is cool these days. You are such a mom. Be Cool!

If I had any hair to part I would be totally supporting that do!

There's very little your boys could do to detract from their good looks!

Porter has been exerting his sense of style recently too... It's kind of fun to watch. He's started wearing two shirts, a t-shirt with a button up shirt over it (buttons undone of course) I don't know where he learned it, but he loves it.

I guess when their preferences aren't so innocent that's when we switch gears per your dad's advice!
