I am grateful that they sent everybody home from church today when the power went out during a rain storm. With no AC, the building quickly heated up to about 150 degrees. That's what it felt like to me anyway. Thank goodness our home still had power!

I agree that it was a good idea to send everyone home! What would we do with a bunch of half-baked Mormons, anyway!?

Oh man, I can't imagine having no power in that heat and humidity! Glad your had power at your house.
I love rain storms that big, but good thing they didn't make you sit in the heat!

i think all churches have a temp control problem though... i am either WAY TOO COLD, or WAY TOO HOT... power on or not!
