My mom left yesterday. I want her back! Not only is she enjoyable to be with, she in one of the hardest workers I know. This is my mom for you -*What she did while she was here:
-made all the meals
-laundry
-dishes
-picked up the house
-took care of the boys , including getting Kyle and Jordan ready for school each morning and sending them to the bus
-straightened up the boys closets
-treated us to meals out
-treated me to a shopping trip to Kohls
-completed multiple sewing projects that I didn't know how (didn't want) to do
-made time to go to lunch at Kyle and Jordan's school, and McKenna and Lydia's school
-watched McKenna's softball game
-watched Summer and Emily's dance practise
-and many other things that I am probably forgetting
*What I did while she was here:
-took care of baby Josh and rested
And then, towards the end of the week, I started feeling real guilty with how much work I was NOT doing. I asked my mom if she felt bad that she was doing all the work, to which she replied, "I am hardly doing anything! I keep telling myself, 'Get to work. Stop lounging around.'" And that is my mom for you. I don't think I could ever be as productive as she is.
Mom, come back! I don't think I can do it on my own! You've spoiled me and pampered me. And I loved every minute of it!

aren't moms the absolute best?! I was amazed at how many things our moms do/have in common when they come to help - I loved the bit about sewing projects completed - SO TRUE!
That is Great Audra! I am sure she enjoyed every minute of it!! What a wonderful mom/gramma she is! And I do know you love to be pampered & spoiled. Sounds like a great time!
It's times like that that make you realize how much you appreciate your mom. She really did a lot for you and I can only imagine your appreciation for her. You're so blessed to have her in your life.
She is SuperMom! It was so fun to spend time with her while she was here. We're counting down the days until she can come back!!!!

Isn't that the best-looking bunch of grandkids ever???!!! They must have fantastic parents! I had an absolute stupendous time this past week! Thanks for letting me come and play!
