I got a coupon for $8.99 haircut at Great Clips and used it. I've walked into these types of salons before and I realize that you never know what kind of haircut you will end up with. But it's almost comical to compare the haircut I got with the picture I brought in for an example of what I wanted. It's not even close! The haircut is a little more shaggy dog look than I would like, but oh well. It's not permanent. I don't have a picture of me yet, but you'll see one soon enough.

I know how you feel....I paid $45 for a haircut today - mostly because I've gone down the $8.99 route before, and it never seems to be worth it....

That's the worst! Although from a hairstylist point of view it is very hard to get someone's hair to look like the picture they bring in. You bring in your dream picture but don't end up looking the same because you hair isn't a thick or the same color. Most of the time it's actually the face that you like and wish was yours not the hair. Sometimes if I thought the haircut they wanted wasn't what they really wanted I would cover up the face and ask them if they still liked the haircut. Oh, and I hate getting haircuts! I haven't had to pay for a haircut in 5 years but if I go see the friends that I used to work with then I'll be paying $45 and that seems like A LOT after it always being free! So, I've just been cutting my own and now I'm embarassed to go get it cut because I'm sure it's way uneven! OK! enough from me!
That stinks...I have had that happen. No fun. Lucky you are so pretty, you can pull just about anything off!
I so know what you mean - I took a photo of Celine Dion from her "Color of Love" CD and wanted her little pixie cut - I came out looking like a man - SO bad!
I will let my hair become way to overgrown with no style left and then go splurge with someone that charges $50 because she does such a good job. I got so tired of bad haircuts.
I hate it when they cut my hair bad! My best friend became a stylist though, so I lucked out and she always does a good job. (so far)
