So this morning we had the little photo shoot I wanted to do before having the baby. I asked a lady in our ward who is into photography and I'm pretty sure she never wants to take our pictures again. Our boys were positively the worst clients!!!! Well, Jordan did pretty good after a good talking to, but Kyle and Tanner never seemed to catch on - "smile and be happy, DANG IT!" I finally said, "forget the formals and take candids." So though I haven't seen all the pictures yet, I know most of them will be of Mike and I surrounded by boys flopping on the ground. Let's hope the ones of just Mike and I or just me turn out better. I am having a feeling that the ones I'll like best will be of just by pregnant belly. Oh well. Let's hope I'm pleasantly surprised to find that our photographer can magically make it look like the photo shoot was a pleasant experience for all of us!

No matter what.. they will be great!! the more candid the better, especially when looking back. We have this one family picture that I hated because Kami had kicked her shoe off, was crying with a big tear drop on her cheek(18 months) Kortney and I looked like we were trying to cling to the edge just to be in the picture. Morris was pretty much the only person taking up all the space. I love that picture now. Can't wait to see yours.
When you described your boys "flopping around on the floor" I could imagine what your photoshoot was like! You are very brave even to attempt it! Like Elaine said, it will probably be a treasure because it portrays 'real life'. Can't wait to see what the pictures look like!
Those boys!!! That's why I never take my girls to get professional portraits. Kids can be so uncooperative! I bet the pictures will turn out fun anyway. I can't wait to see them.
