Last Sunday was my second Sunday back since Josh was born and Mike was working all day. I decided to try to make it to church, but keep my expectations low - if I was late, no worries, if I didn't make it the whole three hours, no problem, etc. When it came time to get ready, I told the big boys to get dressed. They dropped what they were doing and got dressed right away. Wow! Then I asked Jordan to get Tanner ready, which I wasn't going to enforce if he didn't want to. But he did it! He got Tanner completely dressed. I walked by Tanner's room as Jordan was putting his belt on and just had to capture the moment.
Josh started crying, but here came Kyle to the rescue! He soothed him back to sleep on the couch. That was a huge help!
The whole morning, my boys were the sweetest boys ever. I got to thinking, they may fight, or argue, or not listen to me sometimes, but if we have moments like these, Mike and I must be doing something right as parents! And it feels real good!

That is so sweet. I love it when my kids are helpful and getting along. I really appreciate it when it does happen because it isn't always like that.
