7 things you will now know about me

1. Mike and I don't have sides to the bed. We switch off and whoever is on the left side of the bed, gets up with the boys in the morning.

2. Mike always wants me to make a list of chores for the family and I won't do it. I don't want the responsibility to follow through with my chores!

3. I am pretty good at keeping up with the laundry, but I am terrible at remembering to wash the bed sheets. We probably have tons of bed bugs, but I can't see them so I don't care.
4. I have extreme issues about waking up a sleeping baby. I just won't do it!

5. This is terrible, but when my boys gets shots and they cry, my reaction is to laugh. I guess it is a coping mechanism, because I don't think it is funny! I feel terrible inside, but I laugh. Wierd.

6. I absolutley HATE research. I don't want to research what product to buy, what sickness I have, or what candidate to vote for, etc.

7. I was a master Nintendo Tetris player when I was little. Now, I can't stand video games.

SO fun to read, Audra - I love that you and Mike don't have sides of the bed assigned!

AUDRA,
YOU ALWAYS MAKE ME LAUGH!! I love how you admit to not washing the bed sheets as often as you should!! I do BRaydens WAY TOO OFTEN because of his pee problem at night! I only do ours every few weeks and Daxtons... umm... Not as often as I should. LOL. I think I had the same problem!
Oh and I think I knew most of these things about you and I can TOTALLY relate to the laughing matter with the kids getting shots! I do the same thing. I think it is easier to laugh than to cry and feel sooo dumb! I totally laugh too, but inside, I want to cry for them! We are weird! ARen't we?? LOL

So many things we now know about you Audra. The bed plan sounds good, however with us Tony sleeps closest to the door, which means most of the time he gets up with the boys because they jump on him first.

I am still reeling from your no-side-of-the-bed news.

I'd like to see how we could handle a Tetris game now. Probably not so good.

Interesting info!

I bet it would take you all of two minutes practice before you were a master tetris player again. It always made me a bit frustrated because you did so much better than I did.

I can't believe you and Mike don't have assigned 'sides' of the bed you are to sleep on. Come to think of it, I don't know why we do have 'sides' we have to sleep on! We might just throw caution to the wind and change sides and see how we do. Talk about an adventure!

I'm there with you on the research thing! I avoided classes in college that would require me to research something at the library. To me it was an exercises in futility: look up a reference, go to find it, its not there, look up another reference, go to find it, its not there, etc. etc. Pretty soon 4 hours have passed and you have NOTHING to show for it. Now that we have the internet, the research thing might be easier. All you have to do is go through the 1.23 million references Google pulls up for you. What a deal!

I played tetris so much on my Graphing Calculator during my sophomore year of high school, I would play tetris in my mind as I went to sleep at night. Pretty scary, huh! That would be fun to play it again, just like old times.

P.S. I really like your list! This has been so fun to read everyone's 7 Things.

I love your list. I totally agree with your research glitch. I don't even like to read instructions for anything. If I can't figure it out without instructions, It ain't gonna happen.

What??? no assigned sleeping? I'd be jumpin in early on the "right" side of the bed. We switch only when we rearrange the furniture.

What is so unique about not having sides to your bed? I haven't had sides to my bed since I graduated from the crib. While the sides are beneficial to keep you from rolling out of the bed, at this age, they seem to be more burdensome than beneficial.

Nice! Tetris, huh? That is cool! Those were fun to read!

If Matt and I had that deal with the bed, I'd make the right side mine.

That is very weird about laughing at the shots...I hate them so bad that I have to look away or I'll get sick, but shots on myself don't bother me. You write about funny things, Audra.
