It didn't quite work, but it turned out beautiful anyway. And he deserves the award for best effort - that roof was extremely slippery! I totally agreed with him when he got off the roof and said, "I'm not doing that again."
We put out the nativity, decorated the Christmas tree, and wrapped our presents.
We loved our Christmas cards in the mail and the treats we received from our friends.
The day my mom and dad, and Abbi and Chad flew into town, we decorated sugar cookies..... and made a mess.
On Dec. 23, Joshua Reed was blessed.

Jessi had three miles left to run on her fitness challenge so we all geared up and ran three miles together on Christmas day. It rained on us and I had ham, sour cream potatoes, and rolls in my belly, but it felt good.:)
What a happy time! We are having a wonderful Christmas season. And it isn't over yet. My family is still here. We are hiking Stone Mountain today.
