does he dress himself?
At Tanner's doctors appointment yesterday, the nurse asked the four year old check-up questions, one of which is, "Does he dress himself?" I looked at Tanner. The nurse looked at Tanner. We observed his inside out and backward shirt, his mismatching shirt and shorts, and his boots on the wrong feet, and after a brief pause, I answered, "Uh...yeah." And then she continued on to the next question without skipping a beat. But I couldn't hold back a chuckle after that question. I sure hope nobody thinks that I dress him like that! If I had a say in the matter, he'd be wearing something different! But it's not worth the fight (even getting that darn shirt right side out and on the right way). "It's ok, mom. It's ok."

That totally makes me laugh! I'm surprised the nurse didn't think it was funny.
Haha. That made me laugh. What a funny kid!
I can just see that take place in my mind. The nurse should have answered that one herself!
That is funny! She shouldn't have even asked that question... :) LOL I wouldn't put up the fight either. It is not worth it!
This happens to me all the time...with Joe! You should see some of the outfits he comes up with. I have to have "fashion inspection" every time he leaves. The other day I forgot, and he ended up wearing a brown shoe and a black shoe all day to work. Maybe Tanner gets his fashion sense from Uncle Joe.
Definitly not worth the fight. I really wanted my beautiful little girls to wear and have their hair fixed the way I wanted.. No way....
I remember when Kortney was 3 and went to church with about 10 different barretts clamped in every which way, most people understood and told her how lovely her hair lookrd.
This is another one of those stories I want to tell everyone I know, but I have to contain myself. I love Tanner!!
