I'm scared for the teenage years

Josh, at 5 months old, will eat a couple of bowls of rice cereal and a whole jar of baby food in one sitting. I don't remember if this is normal for this age, but there is no doubt that this kid is a good eater. ALL my boys are good eaters. And that is why I am really scared for the teenage years. I'll have to make a daily trip to Costco.

I'm scared too! John always reminds me that growing up he was ALWAYS eating and NEVER got full. Connor sometimes seems to have a hole in his tummy and so it can't be filled. You have 4 boys though! I can't even complain!

You are already a great cook, but you are going to become an EXPERT at buying large quantities of food and cooking very large meals!

YOU SHOULD BE SCARED!!! With 4 boys, you will be as skinny as a rail because they will eat all of the food leaving nothing left for you... You are going to die of starvation! ;) LOL. Seriously though, I am scared too! How are we going to survive? Thank Goodness for Costco!

My mom still has four boys living at home and they go through one gallon of milk PER DAY! My mom's at the grocery store a lot, and they also have a second fridge in the basement! :) Good luck, Audra!

my in-laws had 5 boys and when they were teenagers they would just give them money to go to the all-you-can eat chinese buffet instead of making them dinner--it was cheaper. don't know if the poor restaurant stayed afloat . . .

I'm right there with ya,sistah. We just ordered a FULL BEEF from the butcher, because the 1/2 beef we got 7 months ago is gone. Holy Cow!

I have five brothers and yes, I remember the massive amounts of milk my mom used to buy at one time, only to return the following week to buy more. I've thought about you as I've tried to feed my small army. I feel like they eat a ton, and I wonder how I'll ever keep up... keep me posted on the tricks you learn!
