Kyle and Jordan are on their first swim team. 
And at their first swim meet, I had never seen them so nervous.
So many people there to watch!
And they are just little guys!
Kyle is telling Mike that he might throw up. That's a first. Sporting events don't usually phase these boys.
Josh was enjoying himself though.
In the end, they did awesome and were very happy.
Next meet won't be so bad.

I love the smiles at the end. And I really do want to come watch them sometime. It looks like fun!
they are so cute. They may be little guys... but those muscles look buff with those folded arms! Man-o-man!
Our girls are in full swing for swim as well. We always tell them to swim their best and focus them on beating their own times each meet. It helps if you can get them to ask the timer for their time when they get out of the water. Then when not everyone gets a ribbon...everyones a winner if you can show them how they have improved each time. Some pools swim faster than others so, don't be alarmed if they don't do as well one week!

That is so fun! I loved swim team when I was younger. I was on swim team from about 4th grade until junior year in high school. I can totally relate to the feeling of wanting to throw up - I think I felt that way before every race! But, somehow I still loved it!
oh no, he really felt that sick over it? poor guy. i'm sure they did awesome, but my kids would have been nervous, too. were they on relay teams? i can't believe they can swim that whole length of the pool! way to go boys!
and josh is so cute, as is the look his daddy is giving him. daddies are the best.
I used to swim on a team when I was little like that. What a neat and fun experience for them.
Leslie - They had three races. One on a relay team where each swimmer swam one length of the pool by freestroke, one length of the pool by freestroke, and one length of the pool by backstroke. It was so fun to watch!
Now this is a first--Kyle and Jordan nervous and afraid! You should be a proud mama--they did great to overcome their fears and do a scary thing.
Wooohooo Kyle and Jordan! Way to go! I would be nervous just like they were. Can't wait to see them swim when we visit!
