my fix
Ever wonder where I got my blog title, "Scarlet Velvet and Pearls"? It's from my very favorite novel, These Is My Words, which I am reading for the fourth time. That's right, my fourth time. And why am I reading it for the fourth time? Because I need a fix of Captain Jack Elliot, that's why. I absolutely love that man!!! All you ladies that have read this book, am I not right that he is the best?

My friend just returned that book to me yesterday and it's sitting on my nightstand begging to be read again. Maybe David and I will read it together. I think he and Captain Jack could be friends.
