thinking on the bright side

Someone said to me once that one way to find a good husband is to marry a man that has a good relationship with his dysfunctional mother. I've been thinking about that lately because if that statement is true, my boys will make absolutely wonderful husbands!

Though I wish it weren't so, I'm doing my part.

OK, you're not dysfunctional. Just a little emotional now and then is all. Emotion is a part of life! The boys will be excellent husbands because they know how to deal with a little emotion now and then. So there!

All your boys' wives are going to be so lucky! :) You are training them well. But I do have to agree with mom that you're not dysfunctional.

I think we can all call ourselves dysfunctional at times. The running joke at our house is that whenever Stuart is ready we'll pay for pshycoanalysis. So far he hasn't asked for any so I think we may be good.
