It amazes me that in less than a month our tree will be covered in green leaves. I remember last year, we went out of town for Adam and Jessie's wedding at the end of April. When we left, the tree was bare. When we returned, a week later, it was full. The new life comes so quickly. I love the symbolism of it all. Resurrection. Hope. Joy. Beauty.
Have you thought a lot about this lately too?
Happy Easter everyone!

I've been so focused on getting the girls' outfits together that I have hardly thought about the real reason we celebrate Easter. That occurred to me while I was running this morning and I was humbled. There is new life all around us and I am so grateful for the reminders nature gives us to help us focus on our Savior and His resurrection.
Happy Easter Audra!!!
Yes, every time I see a plant, bush, tree or flower 'come back to life' I think of the Resurrection of the Savior. What an incredible gift He has given us. There are no words that capture the magnificence and compassion of the atonement.
I have thought about this so much! (And I've wanted to blog about it, too, but now I don't need to! :) )It is seriously unbelievable to me how FAST everything changes! One second there's three feet of snow everywhere, and the next everything's green! Amazing.
