something's gotta give

and it might have to be my blog.

For a while.

I have some big events coming up. I feel like I have a part time job in party planning and event coordination. Well, let me rephrase that - I do have a part time job in event planning, though I'm not being paid with money. Enrichment leader is my calling at church and it is requiring a lot lately - lots of my extra time. And throw in K's and J's birthday and baptism and family in town, and end of school activities and my time is taken up. You know how it is. I'm sure you've done (or are doing it) too.

But I'm excited because I have an idea. We have a brand new printer/copier/scanner/faxer that I'm just loving! I haven't had a scanner in years! I've already scanned some fun photos of my past, and over this next month, I'll share them with you, ok? Are you excited too?

Since it's the time of year for graduations, let's start out with the day of our college graduation. Mike and I didn't exactly plan to graduate at the same time. It just came together that way. Kyle and Jordan were three months old. I spoke. We made it in the newspaper. A friend I hadn't seen in a while asked me when my twins were due and I told them they were three months old - little awkward, but hey, I guess you can hide a lot in that gown. And as you can see, it was a gorgeous day.

How fun. I graduated 4 years before Aaron, but I never walked, so I got to walk with him - pretty cool huh? David was 1 year old, and he had a little graduation gown too. He didn't like it though.
I can't believe they are almost 8!

I do not know how you did that! You are amazing! I had a hard enough time graduating being single without any kids. :)

That was such a happy day! A real family affair! And a huge accomplishment!

Good luck getting through the multi-event planning. How can I help?

Hi! I came across your blog the other day. You have a darling family! I remember driving you to junior high while I tended you and your siblings (it doesn't seem like it was that long ago!) You were such great kids! My children are not that much older than yours. I hope you don't mind that I peeked into your world through your blog!:)

I might have just sent you two of the same comments- sorry! The screen went blank so I retyped it before I saw the comment moderation info. I'm completely new to blogging and have no idea what I'm doing!

my blog has been on the "give" list for the past few months- and you know what, IT'S totally OKAY! I haven't had a scanner for a while either, it will be fun to see your photos! We finally just got a working computer, well, actually laptop, but I love it! After we move to WA We'll replace the scanner and maybe I can start scanning photos again.

I love your graduation pictures, that is such a special memory! And don't worry, a lady checking me out today at Walmart asked me if I was pregnant. I always hate to have to answer "no" when I'm not pregnant, the asker is always so embarrassed.
