he made it

Tanner graduated from preschool! And it cracked me up with how serious they were at his graduation.

"Don't think of this as the end. It is only the beginning."
Um, yeah, they are five years old.
I was surprised that they even had a ceremony. It reminds me of the line in The Incredibles. The dad says, "It is not a graduation! He is moving from the 3rd grade to the 4th grade." (or something like that)

But I shouldn't be making fun of it.
I LOVE this picture!

So darling! When Harris was little his school did a graduation with gown, etc. I was kind of sad that Winston's didn't. Oh well, now I have to look forward to the real thing.

Audge, I have just been LOVING your blog, even though I haven't been commenting. I love all the old pix and all the new pix and all the funny things you have to say. But most of all I love that little boy in that picture! :) I can't wait to give him another big hug when we're in Georgia IN LESS THAN A MONTH!!! Good luck with enrichment and baptism planning. Love you!

Congratulations to Tanner! He worked hard this year in his preschool, and he deserves all the honor. Plus, he looks handsome in his cap and gown!

I know, it kills me to see what a big deal they make of Everything. My first amything was Jr. High Graduation. Not Preschool, not Kindergarden, not 6th grade and when I earned my Radiographer degree it was no big deal. Oh poor me, no wonder I'm a little weird.
