Speaking of love and marriage, I was so lucky to witness one of the most beauitful displays of love I've ever seen. My Grandma H*, who has Alzheimers or major dimentia, said about my Grandpa, who visited her twice a day every day at her care facility,
"He was a wonderful, wonderful man."
And then, with the help from her son, she leaned over his body, said,
"I love you, I love you, I love you"
and kissed him good-bye.
She knew my Grandpa.
They had been married for sixty years.

This is true love.
This is everlasting love.
And that's what I want.

Every time I think about that moment I get a little emotional. That kind of love is so profound. It is deeper and more substancial that ANYTHING that is portrayed in most "love" stories.
