What was on my mind when I woke up this morning? Please go here to see because I can't think of anything better to describe my mood right now!
Enrichment is over, complete, fineto!
How do you spell fineto?
And what is even better is that it went beautifully. Appropriate since the theme of the evening was "Celebrate the Beauty in Our Lives". It was a picnic in a setting, as far as I'm concerned, like the Garden of Eden. Don't you love that theme - celebrate the beauty in our lives? It's so great for women, but I had to smile whenever Mike would say it. "Is this for the celebrate the beauty thing?" It just sounds funny in a man's voice.
I shared a message about looking for the goodness and the beauty in our lives and also consciously creating those moments with our family and friends. It was good stuff. I must say that some of my most favorite blogs out there are all about that - those little moments in life that bring us happiness, peace, or comfort. For many of us, our blog is a record of the best things going on in our lives. When we take a moment from our busy everyday lives and focus on the good, we can see how very much there is of it! This whole theme is just so delicious to me. It's all about counting our blessings and recognizing God's hand in our lives.
So anyway, my best of friends, Misty and Melinda did the decorations and food and boy did they come through. Amazing ladies these two are! Love you guys!
The Invites
Diann's home, the lady in my church willing to let us use her backyard
The setting
like the Garden of Eden, no?
The take home gift displayed where they walked into the backyard
Mom, I wore the pearl necklace you made me.
I matched the decorations. Ahhhhh!
I loved this evening. I love that's it's over. It's a new dawn, a new day, a new life for me. No more major events to plan.
Atleast for a few more weeks.
Pyne reunion - coming in July!
As for now - summer fun, relaxation, popcycles, many trips to the pool, great books to read, sleeping in.
I'm feeling so good.
