crawfish boil

This must be documented - Mike was excited to cook. Hardly ever happens. When it comes to cleaning, he's my man, but when it comes to cooking, well, it's just not his thing. But apparently, when traveling to downtown Atlanta to go to a big old farmers market and when seafood is involved, he's more than motivated. He can't be stopped! "Really, Mike? Are you sure you want to do this?" He was so sure, we planned a full day around it. Drove to Atlanta, visited IKEA, stopped at the Fernbank Science Center (another Mike thing to do), and then picked up our supplies at the Farmers Market. Talk about a cultural experience. Very cool. And here was our feast. Crawfish, shrimp, crableg boil. "We were grubbing", as Mike would say.

He is something, my cajun husband.

You must live in the south! Looks like all the boys enjoyed it. I love your backyard.

this is totally something neal would do. he was just talking about having a crab boil the other night. we just weren't sure who we'd invite. too bad you live so far away!!
is mike from the south? neal is from louisiana, but DO NOT mistake him for a cajun. that gets him riled up. :)

Leslie, Mike is from Washington. Not the south, but I think it's in his soul. He loves this sort of thing!

Shana, my kids loved it!
