what's in the name?

Hot Hand Kyle

We were at my Grandma P*'s home. The one year old twins were motoring around her home. My grandma opened the oven to take out lasagna. She wasn't use to having little ones around and I wasn't paying attention. Kyle came up from behind my grandma and stuck his hand on the open oven door. He got burned very badly. Check out his huge blister on his palm and some on his fingertips that we found the next morning. It's amazing that he healed so well.

Catcus Jack Jordan

My little one year olds and I were taking a stroll around our apartment in Houston. I shouldn't have let them get so close to the catcus. Kyle tripped and knocked Jordan right on top of that catcus pictured there. He came up with spines in his chin, armpits, belly, underarms, and legs. Terrible, terrible, terrible! It was my fault, I know. He couldn't put his arms next to his side or the spines would prick him. He wasn't the most urgent case in the Children's ER, so for the next two hours, my one year old had to hold his arms out and away from his side. He didn't complain much though and it seemed I was more tramatized than he was. After two hours of pulling and pulling, the doctors and nurses finally got all those spines out. I really hate cactus now.

Texas T

Thank goodness, this one isn't another example of how I'm a neglectful mother. Tanner is our only baby born in Texas.

The owies that are preventable are the worst. Cute names attached to them. Your kids are troopers.

I remember that cactus story - ouch! Poor Kyle and Jordan, I am glad Tanner's name doesn't have an injury associated with it.

When Jared was a toddler he put his hand on the hot lawn mower engine and had a burn just like that. And I also fell in cactus when I was a young girl. OUCH!!Poor kids! I hate when they hurt.
