our evenings

As soon as the last door is closed after putting our boys to bed, Mike and I look at each other and say, "One more game?" Thanks to the idea from my friend Misty, Mike and I have been challenging each other in soduko. Last week is the first time I've ever played. A little behind the times, but oh well. Like I've said before, a little friendly competition is always welcomed in our marriage. Guess who's fastest.

And Abbi, we received your copy of Catching Fire in the mail. Please forgive us, because we opened the box and Mike and I have started reading together! I know you'll be wanting it back so I better purchase my own copy, and quick, cause I love reading books with my hubby.

Matt and I love soduko. I even got it on my phone so when I am waiting somewhere I will pull out my phone and play...it is a great way to pass the time.

Hey, I like sudoku puzzles too! But I don't think I'm very fast at it. I might make a sudoku quilt some day - choose 9 different fabrics and arrange them in the 9 x 9 grid according to a finished puzzle. Mathematical and artistic at the same time.

I would guess you are faster than Mike. Did I get it right?

I am so glad you like it. Shay and I take turns winning, but Shay wins most of the time. I think...you win?!

I'd love to hear more about the book! And, we love competition too, it just never ends up that friendly.
