London

London was fabulous! Loved every minute of it. It will take me a while to post my pictures (I took 600+ photos), but let's start with this summary:

- It didn't rain one drop on us. Miracle right! It was pretty cold, but we mostly had clear blue skies. I still can't believe it didn't rain.
- Abbi did an awesome job of planning our itinerary. We definitely used our time wisely and packed in as much as we could. No time to rest when you are in such a city! For those of you have been to London and will know what I am talking about, see below for the list of things we did and places we went.
- London is so clean compared to other large cities.
- We travelled a lot on the tube (subway), even late at night, but I never felt threatened or unsafe.
- One British man thought I was Spanish.
- I had another love fest with my boys when I returned home. I wonder how many times I kissed and hugged them upon my arrival. They didn't complain one bit or pull away. They ate it up and so did I!
- Mike cleaned and organized the whole house (down to the bathroom closets and kitchen drawers) for me before I arrived home. I don't deserve such a man.

**Where we went**
BYU London Center
Kensington Gardens
Cafe Diana
Buckingham Palace AND SAW THE QUEEN (drove right past us while we waited at a crosswalk)! Trafalgar Square
concert in St. Martin in the Fields
National Gallery
Royal Albert Hall to see Mountbatten Festival of Music
St. Paul's Cathedral
Borough Market
Tower Bridge/Tower of London
church at Hyde Park ward
British Museum

Phew! I've been back almost a week and I'm still recovering! Seriously. Hopefully I can post my pictures soon.

it sounds wonderful! I can't wait to see pictures. I am glad you had a great time.

I have a really random question for you - is there any chance that I loaned you my Children of The Promise books when we lived in Houston. I can't find them anywhere, and I was just hoping that by some chance I loaned them to someone, and that we didn't accidentally throw them away! :)
