When I was a little girl or young woman, I had no idea that...
*when I asked my dad, "Who am I going to marry?" and he said, without hesitation, "Michael" that he would be right.
*I would like photography so much.
*I wouldn't marry someone 6'2" or taller.
*when my Uncle Dale went on his mission to Georgia, that I'd live there when I was 27.
*when my Uncle Alan went to Baylor College of Medicine, that my husband would also go there ten years later.
*when my Uncle Alan in H* tried to get me to write a letter to Shad H. from H* that my husband would be such good friends with him ten years later.
*when my track coach said I'd get married after my freshman year in college and I laughed at him and denied it, that he'd be right!
*I would have twins.
*I would get sooooo many stretch marks from pregnancy!
*when my older sister went on some dates with Chad C*, that I'd also go on a date with him, and then Abbi would also date him (and is still dating him:)).
*my best friend in middle school, who I lost contact with after middle school, would contact me over ten years later to see how I was doing.
*cooking took so much time and energy (thanks mom for the countless hours you spent in the kitchen feeding us kids!).
*I'd like to read so much and that I'd even be a part of a book club.
*being a mom is so exhausting.
*I'd get grey hairs so early!
*I'd be so addicted to a blog.

that was fun! tell the story about your dad saying you'd marry mike? have you known him since childhood?
I can say ditto to a lot of those, myself - strange what time does to us, right?
What a fun thing to think about! Life is full of little surprises!
No, I didn't grow up with Mike. Being the romantic girl I was, I would always ask, "who am I going to marry?" Both my mom and dad would usually blow the question off and say, "we don't know!" But one time, we were driving in the car. I was in Middle School by the way and I asked that same question. My dad immediately said, "Michael." It surprised me and I thought, "I am going to remember that and see if he is right." He was! Oh, and that is the only time he ever answered that question with a name. Cool, huh!
What a fun idea to write about! Life sure can throw you curve balls, huh. I, too, had no idea I would end up dating the certain Chad C*! Or that I would ever go to Romania! Life never is exactly how you expected it to be, huh. It's always better...well, in the long run at least! :)
