Last Report

So this is my last report of our Christmas holiday. I have a few things to talk about. First, I wanted to record my Christmas stockings - old and new. This is the stocking I had as a little girl. My Grandma P* made one for my siblings and me. It brings back so many wonderful memories!

This is my new Christmas stocking that my mother made. A few years ago, she decided to make the whole family new stockings and since she is a master quilter, she quilted them. Isn't it beautiful! Check Jessi's family's here.

My Christmas stockings, side by side, old and new, my past and my future. It is so neat!

I know what to expect in my stocking each year. I received these things when I was a little girl and I still receive them as a big girl! I always get a drink, mini box of cereal, pieces of candy, gum, and many times a piece of fruit. I use to get Snapple each year, though it lately has changed to Sobe drinks.

Since the last five years or so, I always get a Lang calendar from my mom. She gets calendars for her and her girls. I love the Heart and Home ones.

Another thing that we can expect each year is my dad's same old Christmas (and brithday for that matter) list. Here is his list every year:

socks, CDs, breath mints, chapstick, mixed nuts, cologne, a shirt, a tie

Every now and then he will add something to this list, but that doesn't happen too often! It makes me laugh.

I know that people are letting go of Christmas and moving on to the new year. But I had to record these things while they were on my mind. We had yet another wonderful Christmas!

I love my old stocking Grandma made us as well! I can't believe she made them for everyone! When you think about it, it must have been a LOT of work. I appreciate it now that I am older. :) I don't want to let go of Christmas either! So it is ok, post away about Christmas!!
