Got Me

Tanner is intimidated by people in authority positions. I use it to my advantage. When he climbs around the van and won't get in his carseat, I tell him, "You need to get in the car seat. The police men will get mad. It is the law." It works and he climbs in. Well, today I went roller blading with Kyle and Jordan with Tanner in the stroller. He had climbed out and was dilly dallying in the woods while Kyle and Jordan zoomed up ahead. I told Tanner to hurry up and get in the stroller. He didn't. After a minute of coaxing with no results, I said, "Tanner I am leaving. Bye-bye." I turned and skated away while he yelled back at me, "Don't leave me, mom! The police men will get mad!" He got me on that one. It's against the law to leave little boys in the woods.

Oh well. It was awesome to see Mike tonight! We had dinner and cheese cake and visited. Poor guy has not gotten a break from the your boys yet though... My boys kept him very busy bugging him ALL night to play with them. You know-ALL kids love Mike!! :) I wish you could have been here too!! I am sad. I miss you guys.
