Well, thank you for your nice comments about my hair and makeup! It made my day! I really do want to get some new makeup because a lot of my stuff is almost out. So I got to thinking. I want to hear about your favorite beauty products or makeup items. Either blog about it yourself or include it in my comments. I will start it off. My sister-in-law, Tenley, and friend, Ashley K., got me started on the MAC makeup. I really do like their products. My favorite items are the:

Gleam Lipstick
I wear it almost every day! (this picture is not the color Gleam)
and the Studio Fix powder foundation (N5 for me)

I have recently discovered the wonders of baby oil gel for smooth skin (on my body, not face). I put it on after I shower, BEFORE I towel dry (while I am still wet). For the first time I feel like I have smooth, soft skin.
I'm a huge fan of max factor's lipfinity. That stuff stays on forever!
I don't have any favorite makeup products. Maybe that's why I don't get as many compliments on my makeup as you! :) But I really like Cetaphil face wash and lots of brands of cleansing cloths and Pond's dry skin cream. I love the feeling of a freshly clean and moisturized face!!
I haven't ever found anything that I like better than Lancome's Dual Finish. It's a good thing I don't do my makeup every day b/c if I did, I'd run out of it a lot faster than the current rate of about twice a year! MAC's Studio Fix is a close second however! I also love CG's version of "lipfinity" (I'm blanking on their name right now!) but it's the same concept, color first, gloss second... it lasts ALL DAY and doesn't dry your lips out!
I just get the cheapest stuff that matches (enhances?) my natural color. I use revlon, cover girl, and maybelline mostly. And I love Oil of Olay face face products. I am cheap aren't I?
I'm in the market for some new lipstick. Would you recommend MAC lipstick? Have you ever tried their lip gloss? Which is better? Is it worth paying the price for their lipstick?
i swear by bare escentuals, bare minerals foundation. it takes some getting used to, since it's not a liquid or a compact, but i've been using it for about 7 years now. i also love "too faced" mascara, it's called faux fur or something like that. my bro does all their product design, so i got it way cheapo. you can get it at sephora or toofaced.com. i'm gonna have to try that lipfinity stuff . . .
Audra...I've used Clinique for many years. I love their cleansing program and moisturizers. As for makeup I use a variety of things. I've used Clinique, Mac, MaryKay, and some store brands. I just trade off. I'm trying so hard to keep the wrinkles away but it doesn't help my face when I go tanning. hehehe..I bought the Clinique cleansing program for Shana. I hope she likes it. One big tip though: never go to bed with your make-up on. It ages your face!!!

I love Mac lip gloss! Julie got me a few of them for Christmas and I use them a ton!! I love Clinique foundations, but do not use it a lot because I don't like makeup a whole lot. I think I want to try the MAC eye liner! I heard it lasts really long.

I don't wear a ton of make-up but I just tried Neutrogena wax-free mascara and I really like it because I can just wash it off with soap and water and it feels so much better than regular mascara. You can't even tell you have it on. It doesn't irritate my eyes when my contacts are in as bad.
