to a home with little boy clutter and not nice decorations (still waiting for those). But how could I not be happy to see these faces when I got home?
Instead of waking up to wild turkeys -yes, wild turkeys! in my mom and dad's front lawn, I wake up to Tanner saying, "I want food."
It was so wonderful to have adult conversation with my mom, dad, in-laws, and Channing without any interruption!
But it is sure nice to hear the funny little things my boys say. It was a WONDERFUL trip for me! Thank you mom and dad! Now I am ready to be the mom again.

Wild Turkeys???? How cool! And your mom sure is a great decorator! Maybe I'll hire her. Yeah right, I can't afford the decorations let alone someone to decorate for me. Someday...
WOW, WIld Turkeys? What is that about?? And yes, your mom has an amazingly gorgeous home... But really- you are right. It is better to come home to a mess of boys that smile and melt your heart That is what it is really about!! :) I bet they were sure glad to have you back home. I am glad you had a good time an I can't wait to hear all about it!!!

I'm glad you had a wonderful time! Good luck getting back into REAL life, it always takes me a while to adjust after having been gone for a while... I don't know why, but for a day or two I feel like I have less patience, instead of more... Your boys are so handsome! And I know they're glad to have their mama home!
Uncle Roger and I need to go visit them!!! It looks so beautiful. I'm so happy you got to get away and rejuvinate yourself. It always helps.
