A prophet of the Lord died last night. I am sad for the rest of us on earth but I am so happy for him. He is with his wonderful wife again. Can you imagine that reunion! It just makes me so happy.
I also keep thinking about the story he shared many times with us. When he was discouraged on his mission and shared his feelings with his father. The letter his father wrote back was, "Forget yourself and go to work." Did he ever! What an amazing life of service this sweet man led. I am so grateful for him and how he has changed my life for the better. He will always have a special place in my heart.
I love you Gordon B. Hinckley! Thank you for everything!

I have been so blessed to be in his presence on more than one occassion. His son was our Stake President and he and his wife came to many of our Stake Conference's. I can testify that he was the Prophet and felt this everytime I saw him. Such a GREAT MAN, I will miss his humor, his voice his example and his love for all of us.
