This is my Grandma, married to the man below. They met while picking strawberries one summer and I have always loved that story. My Grandma died a few years after my Grandpa. If I had one more day with my Grandma, I would do as many home projects with her as I could. I want to work by her side and learn from her experience in making bread, canning fruit, crocheting, sewing, and baking the best cherry pie. As we work side by side, we'd talk about all sorts of things. I'd ask her questions about life and she would teach me. We'd talk about having children, going to the temple, planning for family vacations, and reading from the best books. I'd ask her about her favorite camping trips and her favorite scriptures. I'd ask her about her sorrows and how she got through them. I'd ask her about her best memories and her happiest moments. It would be another glorious day. I love her so much.Wednesday, October 08, 2008

Seriously Audra, you are making me cry every time I read your darn blog! She is so beautiful and I love her so much!! I agree, I would do the exact same. I wish I took more time to learn from her! Instead we talked a lot, etc... I would love to have learned more.
I miss her so much!
Aren't grandmas wonderful!!!!!
I've loved these last two posts. I totally agree with both of them. It makes me want to spend more time with my grandparents still alive. Thanks, Audge.
Grandma is one of my heroes. There is so much about her that I want to be like. And so much about her that I identify with.
I love your "one more day" stories, makes me miss my grandparents!
Again, such a wonderful tribute to Grandma Pyne! Thank you for your words.
We've got to figure out a way to make more use of the precious moments we have with our loved ones while we can. I love my memories and am so thankful I have no measurable regrets of the times spent with each who have "moved on"
in their eternal progression. I do miss them everyday though.
