mismatch

I was doing my thing at the computer. I spun my chair around and look at what I saw. My baby boys playing so nicely together. Sweet moment. Get my camera.

I thought a little more about the image I was capturing. Let's talk about this, shall we?

First, Mom, has anyone ever loved one of your handmade quilts more than Tanner loves this one? You probably can't tell, but he's playing with a car and the quilt is a road. One of his favorite games to play with the quilt. Thank you for this labor of love. My little boy absolutley loves it!

Second, that is Tanner's most favorite outfit. Green top with red shorts. Gotta love it. He wants to wear it every day and the problem is that he can. Because of this family photo shoot:

we have three of those green shirts, and having twins as older brothers, he often gets hand-me-downs - two of the same thing. I wonder what his teachers think, seeing him wear the same green shirt over and over and over again. They might not know, but it IS a clean shirt!

Let's move on to Josh. Upon further inspection, I notice he's wearing two different shades of green that don't really look good together. Hmmmm. Who dressed him? I wouldn't have put those two together.

Then this man walks in, wearing his two different shades of blue. I get it now.

It makes me smile. And makes me like him even more. And poor guy doesn't know why I'm taking his picture.
