Inspired by Jessi's post here, I rushed to get our 72 hour kits up to date. The big motivational factor is imagining my kids cold, hungry, and scared - one of the worst thoughts of a mother. I kept thinking of the quote, "Don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today." It took me one day to update and organize everyone's kits, and our car kits. What a comfort to know that I did my best to prepare for an emergency. And I know that whatever I lack in preparation, Heavenly Father will make up for it. We will be blessed. I've already had an experience with that to know that it is true. Are you prepared?

Great job!! I am going to get mine DONE!
awesome! Way to go.
I bought backpacks to put clothes and other items in that are not in our prepackaged 72 hour kits but I'm ashamed to say they are still in the Target bags I bought them in. Thanks for the motivation.
This post scared me... Nope, I am not prepared. I need to HURRY! I feel that time is running out!! It scares me.
You know about emergencies and how important it is to be prepared. Thanks for your example. We will all get our rears in gear and get ready!
Be sure and change the size of clothing every 5 yrs. or so. I had children's sizes of sweats when my Kids were teenagers. whoops, Glad I didn't need them.
Thats alot of stuff! And when you came over, I forgot to tell you that I did some more blogs.
We are prepaired...glad you are, too!!!
I kind of had fun shopping for it all.
